Local and International Away Tours are part and parcel of the Nomad members’ calendar and there are various opportunities to join your home club on one of these. Get in-touch with your co-ordinator and reply to the e-mail notices that are posted when the bookings open. The early bird catches the worm!
The local Away tours are always a highlight and it is a great way to get to know your fellow Nomads.
Newer members are encouraged to join their club in the following tours:
- Captain’s Away Weekend (one of the highlights for WP Nomads and families are welcome. The format is quite social and with loads to do for travelling partners and the young ones)
- McRunkel Trophy WP vs Boland (this is the annual tournament played with our friends from Boland. The 2025 edition is hosted by Boland at a location to be decided / communicated)
- Seaboard Trophy (once a year WP Nomads joins Boland, Southern Cape and Border to compete in this not to be missed annual coastal tournament. There are 3 golf days to participate in, starting with the Southern Cape Andrew Mentis Day on the Friday and ending with their Monthly game on the Sunday. The inter-club tournament is played on the Saturday)
International Away Tours are select events with a limited number of spots available to the various Nomads clubs. Check the specific options under this menu for details on the National tournaments in Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, eSwatini and UK.
