To say the conditions were testing at Westlake would be an understatement. The wind blew, it rained and was pretty cold. But that being said there was good golf played by some. The average score for the day was 28.3.

The hospitality at Westlake was superb. The Nomads were very excited to sit down and have a beer or six together for the first time since March.

We had a field of 102 players. We welcomed 1 visiting Nomad from our Boland neighbours. We also had 4 prospective Nomads in the field. Congratulations to the Division winners, John Laurie (37 pts off +1), George Bowes (37 pts off 12) and Dean Marsberg (37 pts off 16). Kilrone Ricketts was welcomed back in great style with 19 pts off a 15 handicap.

We had the honour of awarding 100 game badge to Ross Mackay as well as the incredible achievement of a 400 game badge to Ken Walker. Well done Gentlemen.
