There is a good reason why Durbanville Golf Club is known as The Jewel of the North. The course is stunning, with the greens and fairways being in incredible condition.

I was fortunate to play with Regardt van der Berg, the captain of Durbanville as well as Tony Amaro and Kevin Hitge, who only managed three holes as he was not feeling well. It was a great day out.

We had a spectacular field of 123 players with a good number of visitors. I had the great pleasure of handing a blazer to Mark Stoffberg and Theo Ferreira. Welcome Gentlemen, I am sure you will have great Nomadic career.

Well done to all the winners on the day and especially to Ben Venter on a magnificent 40 points and Eugene Geldenhuys on 39 points. Thanks again to everyone for a magnificent day and especially to Lisa and ensuring that our registration and prize giving went off smoothly.

We also had our AGM and thanks to all of you for the turnout at prize giving. It was great to get back to a bit more normality.
